Public facts stay free. Credits fund a saved evidence baseline, private builder tools and a watch of supported sources. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
When a friend verifies. During the launch gift, an eligible new account that joins through an invitation and verifies email gets one free builder report with a 12-month watch. The inviter gets one 30-day watch credit. Older valid, unused invitation links qualify for the same gift. The gift is available until we pause the promotion; earned credits keep their terms. You must both verify email. You can earn up to three signup credits in this launch. A new friend receives one welcome credit.
When that friend first pays. Their first qualifying cash payment of at least A$79 AUD for the current homeowner or professional offer earns each of you one extra 12-month builder-watch credit. Three distinct qualifying paying friends earn you three annual credits. You can earn at most three annual paid-referral credits in a rolling 365-day period; your friend gets one paid welcome bonus. Pending and reversed annual awards count toward this cap; an old capped payment cannot earn later.
Pending for at least 14 days. The original charge must pass a fresh payment check. Failed, partially or fully refunded, or disputed payments do not qualify. A discount that takes the cash payment below A$79 does not qualify. This hold does not limit refund rights.
Choose when to start. Redeem a signup gift or signup watch credit within 90 days of earning it. Redeem a paid annual reward within 365 days of it becoming ready. Each credit is for one exact NSW builder, with no swaps. A trial lasts 30 days; an annual watch lasts 12 calendar months from redemption. An annual credit can upgrade a trial. If your current access can cover this builder for the same or longer term, save it without spending another credit.
Your evidence stays. The saved baseline remains readable when a watch ends. There is no automatic charge or renewal. Separate paid homeowner or professional access survives a reward ending.
Invite someone new. Each private link can qualify one new account and expires after 30 days. Up to 50 links per UTC day and 250 in total. Existing accounts, self-referrals and duplicate accounts do not qualify. Old referral totals and report credits stay separate.
Share it yourself. BuilderVet does not collect your friend's email or send invitations. A private label is your own reminder; it does not prove who uses a forwarded link. The inviter sees signup, qualification and reward status, not the friend's email, builders, private work or card details.
If a reward is reversed. Only the watch access funded by that reward stops. The saved evidence stays readable and the reversal appears in the wallet. There is no cash debt.
We monitor the NSW licence register, ASIC and three NSW regulator sources. Checks are normally daily; ASIC company checks are weekly. ABN and HBC changes are not monitored. Source failures stay visible. A watch is not a builder-safety guarantee.
