Before you pay

• The name, ABN and licence on the quote are the builder on this page.
• The licence class covers the work in the contract.
• I have Queensland Home Warranty Scheme cover for my site before any payment.
• Progress payments are tied to stages of finished work, not dates.
• The written contract names the same entity that asks for payment.
• Every finding and gap below has an answer from the builder.

Ask the builder

1. Why is licence 15244930 showing status Cancelled, and which current licence would the work run under?
2. Can you show Queensland Home Warranty Scheme cover for this job before any deposit? Most residential building work in Queensland over A$3,300 needs it.
3. Does the name on the licence card match the name on the contract, the quote and the bank account you are asked to pay?
